Aloha from the Cuillier's!
As many of you may know, the month of June ended with a BIG SPLASH on th islands of Maui and Oahu. The Togiai side of the family had planned a mini family reunion and a celebration of many wonderful accomplishments of the past year...my sister Leslie graduated from the WSU Nursing program, Danny had graduated with his MBA, and my nephew Brandon graduated from Pasco High School. What a GREAT year our family had!! In addition to these celebrations, it was a GREAT opportunity for our families to get together and have some fun! And what fun we had...
Let me start by saying that having a BIG blended family is hard...there are so many "moving parts" it's hard to get all of us together. This trip made it easy to just hang out without the usual holiday chaos!! After our Hawaiian vacation, I'm hoping they feel the same way, so this is my personal note to them...
I'm so happy that our families were together and go to know each other just a lil bit better. I truly enjoyed hanging out with all of you and getting to know the nieces and nephews. They are really fabulous little people!! I am lucky to be one of their "Aunties"!! I hope we can continue to be "more" in each others lives in the future. I value your relationship and promise to keep in touch!!

We could not have made this trip without you. We know how lucky we are to have you as our parents and the generosity of your hearts. The word "spoiled" doesn't even come close to how you take care of our family. Our lives our filled with wonderful memories because of the fabulous adventures you take us on and continue to give to our family. Thank you for the "Trip of a Lifetime"!!
There is no way in the world we could ever repay you so I guess we could make small dents in that by taking you to dinners once in awhile ;] We love you!! Thank you for an amazing family vacation!! XOXOXO
Ok, so now let's get to our Hawaiian Adventure to the islands of Maui and Oahu!!
Many may not know that our Hawaiian vacation went off with just a little hitch. We originally were supposed to fly outta Denver on June 11...but with an AC problem in the cockpit, and 3 hours of trying to fix it. Our flight was postponed to June 12th. No worries though cause that flight to Maui was PERFECT! We sat next to a great family who helped with Kendall walking her up and down the aisles and playing with her. Danny was fabulous and did most of the caretaking during the flight =]

Our entire family stayed at the Royal Lahaina Resort which is located right on the beach and nestled into 2 golf courses. The resort itself was amazing...great food, beach, pools, and atmosphere. The grounds were covered in plumeria trees which made it smell fabulous!! Maui was AWESOME!! About 10 minutes away was the Lahaina strip with food and shops....AWESOME!! There was always plenty to do and see when we were down there. And plenty of money to spend =] Our first trip to Maui will not be our last, we loved it there!
