What a great beginning to the New Year!

Life has been a whirlwind since 2010 began...news of a move and the finalization of Kendall's adoption all came at us at one time! But what great news it all is!

We got word that Danny is being transferred to a project in Pueblo, Colorado. He is very excited at the opportunity to work in a different field and work on a project again. He knows quite a few people that work in Pueblo and he looks forward to working with them. He's back to working in jeans and working 4 10's too! 3 day weekends are always nice! Yay! He starts on Monday, February 22nd...

In other news, Kendall's adoption was finalized this month too!! Hooray! What a special day! Dad and Linda were able to make the trip here to witness it and take part in the special hearing...taking the pictures and video in our blog. Hooray! Judge Alice was great too and basically spoke to Kendall about the adoption and documents that we were all signing. Kendall even sat there attentively listening to her and even on cue, spoke and giggled when asked if she was ok with us adopting her! PRICELESS! The entire day was beautiful and perfect...thanks Dad and Linda for being with us on our family's special day!!

Soooooo, another move means more good-byes...I am so sad to leave the great friends I have made here and the kids I got to work with at Twin Creeks Elementary. I TRULY LOVED LOVED LOVED being a part of the school and team! I feel truly blessed for the great women I have worked with and became friends with...and I hope to continue to be a part of their lives through emails and blogs and facebook =]

As some of you may know, my sister Holly lives in Colorado Springs, CO. This will be the first time Holly and I have lived in the same area since 1994! I feel so blessed we have the opportunity to live near family again and to be living so close to my sister!! I can't put into words how great that is going to be to know she is just a short drive away! And to have Kendall grow up knowing her Auntie Holly is priceless. Makes my heart happy.

2010 has been such a blessing so far...we hope you have also had a great year too.
