Hello Family and Friends!!

Happy June!

It's almost summertime and we have had tons of fun getting ready for summer to arrive!

We finally finished our back yard and are so happy with the results! We put in long hours during rain, sun, cold, wind and thunderstorms, along with Kendall wanting to help every step of the way =]

We also wanted to have the yard put in before any visitors arrived and we succeeded!

Dad and Linda were our first visitors! Kendall was so excited to have them here too...she showed off at every opportunity and threw fits when one of them would leave and go out of her eyesight! She was spoiled rotten with attention! And she loved it!

*i have my first big boo-boo near my right eye. i was helping daddy water the back yard and i was crawling and so excited and having so much fun that i got carried away and my hands couldn't keep up with my head and so i fell face first into our patio. i'm ok though. i cried a little but i'm tough. i didn't even cry when my daddy cleaned it either. my daddy felt so bad and he was sad for me. but i'm doing great! i still tear through anything and everything

first we added soil amendment and rototilled...

then we put in 16,000 lbs of denver granite and edging,

north star blue spruces were put in,

and then finished up with 3 pallets of sod.

it was truly a labor of love!!

We are looking forward to having Gramma M and Papa Bud come visit at the end of June! They are also bringing Lily too! Auntie Lori is also gonna come visit during the 4th of July week! Soooooooooooooo excited! We are planning some fun things to do around the Springs and Denver....the zoo, aquarium, water park, Boulder and Estes Park, and swimming at Auntie Holly's pool. We may even check out Santa's workshop to see Santa and all the elves making toys for Christmas!

We hope you have had a nice Spring!! We have had a SUPER one!

We are so excited for summer and swimming and fireworks!

Our family is truly blessed and we are thankful every day for the blessing in our lives...I feel like we are living our dream and I couldn't ask for more. Truly truly blessed =]
